To my dear Patients and Friends,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your association with my dental practice. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to provide dental care in this community – you are all very special to me. I have enjoyed getting to know you and being your dentist for the past six years. Having expressed this, I would like to inform you that I have accepted a full-time position as a Clinic Director at the UCSF School of Dentistry. It is an honor to have been selected for this role and I am grateful to contribute to dental education of future elite providers and to serve my alma mater – UCSF.
I thank you for the trust and confidence you placed with me to provide you and your loved ones dental care. As a continuation of my commitment to that trust I feel a deep sense of responsibility and desire to identify and refer you to a dental provider who will accept that commitment and responsibility to the same degree as do I. A provider in whom you can confidently and easily place your trust the same as you did with me. In fact, UCSF recognized this dedication to my patients and allowed me to take the time to find a dentist I felt wholeheartedly could take on your care. I am fortunate to have found an incredibly talented, compassionate, warm and kind doctor who will not only accept, but, welcome you into her union square practice. Her name is
Dr. Lauren Hebel.
Dr. Hebel recived her DMD Degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she graduated at the top of her class. She completed a post doctorate program in the specialty of Prosthodontics at the University of California, San Francisco. She was one of my most respected professors when I was a student at UCSF 10 years ago. Her guidance and mentorship significantly molded and shaped the way I practice dentistry.
Dr. Hebel is the recipient of numerous awards for academic and clinical excellence throughout all levels of training. In addition to her private practice, she maintains the position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Post Graduate Prosthodontics at the UCSF School of Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics; and a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Association, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
As you can see, Dr. Hebel’s advanced training in prosthetic dentistry, her accomplishments and years in practice far surpass those of many dentists. I am honored and happy she has agreed to take on your care. I am confident you will find her friendly, trustworthy and gentle. I encourage all of you meet her, and see for yourself what a wonderful dentist she is.
I will continue to see some of you to finish pending dental treatment until June 21, 2013. If you have a scheduled appointment beyond June 21, Dr. Hebel’s staff will be contacting you to confirm or offer a new appointment in her office at
450 Sutter St, Ste 2518. If you would like to contact Dr. Hebel sooner, she may be reached at
I am comforted to know that you will all be in competent and caring hands. I thank you all for your years of loyalty and trust. Truly, I feel lucky to have been able to know all of you.
With warmest wishes,
Dr. Biana Roykh
